Delivery and Returns Information When you order a gift from Tipsy Gifts, you are required to complete a ‘date required’ field during the order process. Completion of this field simply tells us when you want your recipient to receive their gift. Some gift websites do not apply this facility, in which case your gift would be sent on a next day delivery basis the day the gift was ordered, regardless of whether the special occasion was the next day or not. We believe that this added service provides you, the customer, with a better service, more control and planning capabilities, and your recipient will receive their gift on the day they should have it. Please note, however, that there is a cut-off time of 10:00 am for all orders, and that any order received after this time will be sent out on the following day's shipment. This cut-off time is necessary in order for our packing and shipping teams to prepare and pack each gift in time for the daily collection from our courrier. Every effort will be made to ensure that any orders placed after the cut-off time required for a next day delivery are met, but Tipsy Gifts cannot be held responsible if this is not possible due to our daily collection having already been picked up. Tipsy Gifts cannot be held responsible for a customer's gift not being delivered on the required date if the order has been placed after the cut-off time for next day delivery. The cost of standard delivery within the UK, for delivery between Monday and Friday, is £6.99 up to 30 kilograms, and £6.99 for consignments in multiples of 30kg thereafter. Saturday deliveries may be selected during the order process, and unfortunately carries a courrier surcharge, which will make the delivery cost £13.99. This is a guaranteed service that enables your gift to be delivered on a Saturday, but please remember that it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the order is placed before the 10:00 am cut-off on a Friday. Should the order be placed after this time for a Saturday delivery, every effort will be made to ensure the collection is made in time for the delivery service you have paid for, but if our collection has been made, the next scheduled collection will be on the Monday, guaranteed for Tuesday delivery. Unfortunately, no refunds can be made for the Saturday surcharge if the order has been received after the cut-off time. The cost of delivery outside the UK is mainly divided into Europe, Outside of Europe and the Rest Of The World, and is calculated on a volumetric weight basis. The cost of delivery to each destination outside the UK varies from country to country, and it is strongly suggested that customers who order more than one product per consignment address will result in a very favourable shipping cost. Please allow for a minimum of four working days from the order day when planning your delivery day for deliveries outside of the UK. The cost of delivery is added to the total in the shopping cart at the end of the order process. Deliveries normally take place between 9:00am and 17:30pm, Monday through Friday for the UK, and may vary from country to country outside of the UK. Any required delivery time that is more specific than the above is always possible, but unfortunately attracts additional courier costs. For example, Saturday morning delivery, or before 12:00 noon delivery. If anything other than the normal next day delivery service is required, please contact us via enquire@tipsygifts.co.uk stating your requirements. In such cases, a ‘cardholder not present’ card transaction would be necessary to secure payment for the gift. It is always a good idea to find out if your recipient is either at home, or at work on the required delivery day. Should your recipient not be where you anticipated when our couriers deliver the gift, a card will be posted through the letterbox advising the recipient that they attempted delivery and inviting them to telephone them to arrange either to pick up the gift at the local courier centre, or to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery to the chosen address. The couriers are also instructed not to leave the gift with anyone without first receiving a signature for it, nor will they accept any instruction to deliver to an alternative address without written confirmation from Tipsy Gifts. Once the gift has been paid for, no refunds or exchanges may be given under any circumstances other than in the unlikely event of damage to the gift in transit. Should the gift arrive with your recipient in a damaged condition, Tipsy Gifts must be informed via email within 24 hours of receipt. Our couriers will be instructed to collect the gift and bring it back to Tipsy Gifts by return. Upon reciept of the complete gift (including any damaged elements) returned in the original packaging to Tipsy Gifts, a replacement will be sent out to the recipient, or a full refund will be credited to your card immediately. Orders placed on this website can be delivered to Mainland UK, Northern Ireland, Europe, Outside Europe, and the Rest Of The World. We regret that we cannot deliver to Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, or BFPO addresses at this time. |
